2. Donations Policy
A. No Refunds on Donations
All donations made to Shivjal Swami Temple Trust are non-refundable. Since donations are voluntary contributions for religious and charitable activities, we do not process refunds except in cases of:
- Duplicate transactions due to technical errors
- Incorrect entry of donation amount by the donor
- In such cases, a refund request must be made within 7 days of the transaction, along with proof of payment.
B. Correction of Donation Details
If you have made an error in providing your details during the donation process (such as name, email, or purpose of donation), please contact us at shivjalswami1112@gmail.com for corrections.
3. Refund Policy for Pooja and Online Services
A. Cancellation by Devotee
If a devotee cancels a Pooja or online service booking, refunds may be considered under the following conditions:
- Cancellation at least 48 hours before the scheduled Pooja β Eligible for 50% refund.
- Cancellation less than 48 hours before the scheduled Pooja β No refund applicable.
B. Cancellation by the Temple
In case the temple is unable to perform the requested Pooja or service due to unforeseen circumstances (such as special temple closures, natural calamities, or priest unavailability), devotees will have the option to:
- Reschedule the Pooja for another available date, or
- Request a full refund.
- Refund requests must be made within 7 days of the original scheduled service.
4. Return and Refund Policy for Temple Merchandise
A. Eligibility for Returns
If you have purchased Prasad, religious books, Rudraksha, or other temple-related merchandise, returns are allowed only if:
- The item was received in damaged condition.
- The wrong product was sent.
- The item is defective or missing parts.
- To request a return, please contact us within 3 days of receiving the product, and provide:
- Order confirmation details
- Photo proof of the damaged or incorrect item
B. Items Not Eligible for Return
- Prasad and consumable items (such as Shivjal water) cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
- Items purchased at the temple premises are non-returnable.
- Customized or personalized religious items cannot be returned.
C. Refund Process for Merchandise
Once your return request is approved:
- You may receive a replacement of the same item, or
- A refund may be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.
- Shipping costs for returning the item are the responsibility of the buyer, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
5. Processing of Refunds
- Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after approval.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during the transaction.
- For payments made via UPI, credit/debit card, or net banking, the refund timeline may vary based on your bankβs policies.
